This story is about a mysterious Stone Mask, and two boys who are destined for incredible adventures. Jonathan Jostar, for friends he is just Jojo, lives peacefully with his father George Jostar, in a rich estate. Another boy, from London, his name is Dio Brando. He was adopted by Jonathan's father because he recently lost his father. Jonathan tried to make friends with Dio, he did not know that Dio wanted to break his spirit through bullying, and win the trust of Jonathan's father so that he could become the sole heir of the Josters. Dio begins to spoil Jonathan's life with various methods: "Not out of malice" hits a knee in the jaw of a dog that allegedly attacked him, brutally beats him at boxing competitions, humiliating him as well, turns his friends against him, all the time he appears to be a gentleman in front of his father, Jonathan himself, when Jonathan has a relationship with Erina, Dio steals her first kiss. All this makes Jonathan very angry to force him to confront Dio.
